Collecting Old Maps by Frank Manasek is the standard reference book for both novice and life-long map collectors. This practical book addresses
the issues of forgeries, condition, identification, research, purchasing and collection care. Published in 1998, it is now out-of-print
and very difficult to obtain even at very high prices.
We are pleased to announce that Old Maps, LLC has purchased from Mr. Manasek the rights to re-publish this essential reference work.
The second edition is a greatly improved and expanded book that will be of even greater use to the map aficionado. We expect to
publish the second edition in the fall of 2012.
