For dealers or collectors seeking a convenient one-volume reference to voyages and exploration, this seems to be the book to have.  A number of experts have contributed entries, which are arranged alphabetically.  For example, under C we have Cabeza de Vaca, Cabot, Cabral, Cabrillo, Caillié, Cam, Cameron, Canada, Cão, Carpini, Carteret, Cartier, Cartography, Central Asia, Chaillé-Long, Challenger Expedition, Champlain, Chancellor, Chang Ch’ien, Cheadle, Cheng Ho, China, Chinese Exploration, etc., etc.  Each entry gives a brief account with additional references.  Highly recommended.
